Corbiere Lighthouse is just amazing and can create some magical moments. With the rocks behind it, it sparkles like a jewel and is the perfect setting for a beautiful sun set. There is an opportunity at low tide to walk along the tourist boards and feel a part of the wonderful scenery. Mont Orgueil Castle has recently been renovated and the stunning rooms are a wonder to explore. With its labyrinth of corridors and towers there is an adventure waiting to happen. The views from the top of the tower are breath taking and the architecture is amazing.
If it is a beach holiday you are after then Plemont Bay is the place to head. This magnificent beach has a steep climb and choppy waters which make it an excellent water sports play ground. The changing tidal patterns give the beach it uniqueness, creating and changing the shape and sizes of the rock pools daily. It is a picturesque beach with hidden caves and a beautiful waterfall along with stunning views from the top of the cliffs.
Elizabeth Castle is an exhibition of war and peace times on the island. From cannons and weapons to a demonstration and re-enactment the castle is full of history and beautiful scenery. St Catherine's Woods is a wonderful place for all the family to explore, it is ideal for a picnic or to just play hide and seek in. With beautiful walks and amazing wildlife it is a welcome change for all the family.
Housed in a former German military bunker the Channel Island Military Museum is a walk through history. The austere bunker dominates the sky line over the beach and used to form part of Adolf Hitler's Atlantic Wall defenses and houses many interesting and amazing artifacts left from the German occupation.
